Things may be a little quiet out there on the BattleLore front lately, but still the improbably dedicated Gerald Uitz keeps us all up to date with his beautiful Compendiums. The April editions of the Lore Cards Compendiums and the Creatures Compendiums are now online.
For these editions, it’s time to do a full new print-out, because Gerald has, with the approval of Days of Wonder, rewritten the titles on most of the pages to make finding your answers even easier. As of the next release you can then go back to just printing and replacing the revised index and pages with new entries.
As usual, go to the Guild Downloads section for the latest downloads.

The card backs on the first edition Call to Arms cards did not match the backs of the Specialist Card decks that were later released. While this does not affect game play, for those who would like a visual match Days of Wonder have printed replacement decks of the 10 Call to Arms cards with the correct matching card backs and are offering a free replacement program.
Get the cards here.

October 14 2007
The formidable Gerald Uitz brings us the October ’07 editions of his Creatures Compendium.
Like the Lore Cards Compendium, the document has been redesigned for even greater ease of use. It contain several sections, each with its own pagination. The sections are designed as individual sub documents, each with a separate page count. Each page number contains the section ID and a page counter in the format x.y.
This means that for each new revision you need only print and replace the revised index and pages with new entries without messing up the overall document structure.

October 08 2007
The dedicated Gerald Uitz brings us the October ’07 editions of his Lore Cards Compendium.
In response to concerns about the usage of paper and ink, Gerald has made a few changes this month. The new documents contain five sections, each with its own pagination. Section 1 contains the introduction and index with roman page numbers. Sections 2-5 are reserved for the 4 Lore Masters. They are designed as individual sub documents, each with a separate page count. Each page number contains the lore card ID and a page counter in the format x.y. So, the Rogues Deja Vu would have page number 3.1. If there is more one page under that card, the next page would be 3.2.
This means, that for each new revision you need only print and replace the revised index and pages with new entries without messing up the overall document structure.

Since the last versions of the Universal Head BattleLore rules summaries and reference sheets we’ve seen quite a few additions and clarifications to the BattleLore rules.
Now at last you can download these definitive sheets safe in the knowledge that you are completely up-to-date.
Firstly, the BattleLore Rules Summary is at version 2. Not only have the first two pages (the core rules), been carefully checked and revised, but the next two pages provide you with a handy summary of the Epic rules, and the final page a summary of the Call to Arms rules.
Then, the very useful BattleLore Rules Reference has been updated to version 8. This includes all the new terrain, weapons and unit types from the specialist packs and expansions, all carefully presented on a single double-sided sheet.
Many thanks go to ColtsFan76, the tireless BattleLore fan some of you may know from the official forums, whose proofreading and suggestions have been invaluable in the making of these updates.
As usual, for best results, print out in colour on double-sided matt card, cut out and laminate.
Enjoy! Go to the Guild Downloads section for the downloads. Translated versions will be posted as soon as possible.
Update: The Reference has been updated to v8.1 with the correction of some small cosmetic errors.
